Senior Citizens
In the Bronx 26% of our seniors live below poverty level, and are in needs of essential services. It's vital that the city council provide sufficient resources to this growing demoprahic. As your city councilwoman I will work to improve our seniors living conditions and preserve affordable housing, affordable healthcare and medication.
I will promote healthy foods, and provide entertainment within the community. Also I will create senior centers where seniors can receive assistance and acquire information they may need.
Senior citizens are an important part of the 14th district and I want to work to ensure that they live a quality happy life.
