Mr. Borough President- The Time Is Now for true leadership to rise up; defend the needs and interest of ordinary Bronx residents. It is shameful that the City Council Member for this district has been noticeably absent form all public discussion on the question of redevelopment of the Armory.

We cannot permit for outsiders to continue to come to our neighborhoods impose their will on us- profiteer from us – highjack our community and political decision-making process. And expect to do so, while we sit idle by and do nothing.

Mr. Borough President – Our children need more recreational, and educational community space.

Mr. President Diaz – Our Community needs more school space. In this immediate vicinity Walton High School, PS 86 & DeWitt Clinton High school are all 50% over crowded.

Mr. Ruben Diaz Jr. – Rubensito – My Brother - no one should be given public property in the Bronx to develop and profiteer from it without a community benefits agreement.

The Time is Now – To Insist on a fair Community Benefits agreement
The Time is Now - To increase the community space in a new redeveloped armory.
The Time is Now- To stand up for labor and working class people.
The Time is Now – To say NO to outsiders and YES to the people of the West Bronx
The Time is Now – To stand for fairness and be a voice for the people who elected you.
